  • Ground American Lamb:1-2 pounds finely minced or ground lamb. ( total 4 patties required).

  • Kosher salt ( ½ tbsp or as needed).

  • Burger buns:4 pieces.

  • Cumin powder, Red chili powder: ½ tsp

  • Garlic and ginger ground/paste:1 tsp.

  • Ground black pepper: ½ tbsp

  • A beaten egg:½ of an egg.

  • Olive oil ( extra virgin) :2 tbsp

  • Worcestershire sauce:2 tbsp

  • Lemon juice:1 tbsp

  • Any kind of flour:1-2 tbsp.

  • Cheddar slice cheese.

  • tomatoes and cucumbers – thin salads.

  • Baked sesame.

  • Mixed herbs or arugula.

  • For the special homemade yogurt sauce :
  • Fresh yogurt (greek yogurt required) – 1 cup

  • Fresh mint nicely chopped -2 tbsp.

  • Making Special Yogurt Sauce (Tzatziki):

  • Marinating Lambs: 
    Season properly by adding all the ingredients thoroughly one by one and combine half of a beaten egg and 2 tbsp flour with the ground lamb. Cover it with plastic wrap or a clean rag and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.

    Divide the minced lamb into 4 parts and turn it into 4 thick round balls. Gradually press down with both hands and turn into layer patties. Form each patty into 2/3 inch- thick. Sprinkle black pepper and salts on both sides.

    Heat the skillet on medium-high heat. Brush the skillet with extra virgin olive oil. Fry them for 3/4 minutes until colored golden brown on each slide of patties. Flip them and brush oil on both sides of the patties.

    Repeat the steps until they are nicely caramelized. Add the sliced cheese and some baked red onion rings on the top. Cook for around 2 minutes.
