 The fresh market chicken salad is perfect for summertime, and it’s easy to make and can be assembled in just a few minutes.

All you need to do is shred the chicken, make a sauce, and mix everything and the healthy and tasty salad is ready. And you can customize it by adding your favorite fruits and vegetables and making it more nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast

  • ¼  cup celery cut into small pieces

  • ¼ cup chopped onion

  • ¼ cup parsley 

  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream

  • ½ tablespoon sriracha sauce

  • ¼  teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ tablespoon red chili flakes

  • ¼  teaspoon black pepper

  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper

  • Salt as per taste

  • Shred The Chicken: If you have already boiled or leftover chicken you don’t have to cook the chicken again. Just shred and use it. Take a mixing bowl, add the chicken, and shred with the help of a fork.

  • Make The Sauce: Take the large mixing bowl, add ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup soft cream cheese, 1 tablespoon heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Then whisk to mix everything properly, and the sauce is ready.

  • Add Seasoning And Other Herbs: Now the Sauce is prepared, we have to add the seasoning and make it complete to use. Add ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, ⅛ teaspoon of white pepper, ¼ teaspoon of onion powder, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of paprika, ½ tablespoon of red chili flakes or paprika, and ½ tablespoon of sriracha sauce. Now mix with a hand whisk until everything is dissolved and turn into a smooth, creamy sauce.

  •  Add The Chicken And Other Ingredients: Take the chicken bowl, add ¼ cup celery, ¼ cup onion, ¼ cup parsley, and ¼ cup black olives. Now give it a good mix, and add the sauce we made in step three. Mix everything with the sauce, and the salad is ready.

  • Serve: Once the salad is prepared, keep it in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes. Then take it out and serve it on a serving plate. You can decorate it with some spread lettuce and fresh vegetables like cucumber and tomato slices. Put parsley on the top, and it’s ready.   • If you don’t have leftover chicken, just put a chicken breast in boiled water, add seasoning, and simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Add or remove any veggies as per your liking, or you can also use fruits. There is no restriction, which will increase the taste as well as make the salad more nutritious. 
  • Give your full attendance to the creamy dressing. It heats everything up and gives the salad its perfect flavor profile.  No replacing or avoiding any ingredients of the sauce.
  • If you are planning to serve the salad later, then avoid mixing the seasonings, and mix just before you serve.
