Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sour cream

  • ½ cup of mayonnaise

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • ¼ cup of fresh lime juice

  • ½ cup of cilantro leaves

  • 1 tsp taco seasoning

  • 1 – 2 tbsp minced canned chipotle

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  • Place ingredients inside the blender jar: In a blender jar gradually add all the ingredients including 1 cup of sour cream, ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 garlic cloves, ¼ cup of fresh lime juice, ½ cup of cilantro leaves, 1 tsp taco seasoning, 1 – 2 tbsp minced canned chipotle, and ¼ tsp sea salt.

  • Store this sauce in an airtight container or food storage container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. I don’t recommend freezing this sauce because mayonnaise can become grainy and change in taste/texture when frozen. 
  • In today’s recipe, you can also add other ingredients like onion powder, sour cream, cayenne pepper, cream cheese, sweetener, and tomato sauce.
