Ingredients

  • ½ cup of granulated sugar

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp of baking soda

  • ¼ cup of rolled oats

  • 1 ½ tsp cornmeal

  • 1 ½ tsp of flax seeds

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 3 eggs, whipped

  • ½ cup of half & half

  • ½ cup of evaporated milk

  • ¼ cup of water

  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

  • Mix all the dry ingredients: Take a medium bowl and pour all the dry ingredients, including flour, baking soda, sugar, baking powder, cornmeal, Oats, flax seeds, and sesame seeds. Whisk them together until blended.

  • Mix wet ingredients: Take a separate mixing bowl and pour evaporated milk, egg, half & half, and water. Whisk them together until blended.

  • pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients: now, slowly pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients while whisking constantly. Try to make a thick batter.

  • Add melted butter: Add ½ cup of butter that is melted and cooled to room temperature—whisking the batter until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  •  Combine pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice: add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice into the batter and whisk them continuously. You can also mix them well with a wire whisk until they mix well with other ingredients.

  •  Pour the batter on the griddle: Fold in multigrain pancake batter and pour ½ cup of batter per pancake onto a griddle. Make sure that you preheat your griddle on 375 degrees Celsius.
