How To Store Chinese Fried Ice Cream

If you want to store fried ice cream, just keep them in an air-tight container and keep it in the refrigerator. Or if you want to store them for more days, store them without frying. After coating them in breadcrumbs leave them in the fridge for one hour.

Then take them out and place them in an air-sealed bag and store them in the fridge for upto one month. Whenever you want to eat fried ice cream, just take them out and deep fry it.

And the delicious Chinese fried ice cream is ready to serve.

Tips And Tricks

  • It’s better to use bread slices instead of cake. Cake is a little rough than bread, so sometimes they break down and also taste sweeter. So using moist bread is more comfortable.
  • If you have time in hand, leave the ice cream ball in the fridge before dipping it in the egg mixture for a minimum of 15 minutes. It will make the balls stronger, and no fear of leaking the ice cream into the egg.
  • If somehow the balls get leaked, make a thick mixture of flour and water and seal the leaked ball with it.
  • Be careful while frying put the balls in a spoon first and then add them into the oil. This way your hand and ice cream balls both will be safe.
  • Don’t add too many balls at a time for frying, fry them in several batches. Having enough space will make it easier to flip and not crash with each other.
