The sandwich is made with Asiago cheese focaccia outside and a combination of delicious greek style dressing, ham, onions, and lettuce inside. Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise,

  • 1 tablespoon of barbeque sauce,

  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar,

  • ¼ cup of piquillo peppers, 

  • 1½ tablespoon of lemon juice,

  • 1 Asiago cheese focaccia, 

  • 3 thinly sliced turkey ham,  

  • ¼ cup of thinly sliced red onions,  

  • 3 cups of romaine lettuce,

how to make Panera Bread Sierra Turkey Sandwich

  • Make The Dressing: In a mixing bowl take ½ cup of mayonnaise, one tablespoon of barbeque sauce, one tablespoon of brown sugar, and one and a half tablespoon of lemon juice (freshly squeezed lemon juice), and give it a good mix. Then add ¼ cup of piquillo peppers and stir to mix well.

Take the cheese focaccia or plain will also work; split it and place it in a baking tray.  Put it in preheated oven (400 degrees for 10 minutes). Bake them at the same heat for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. If you love it to be softer, baking it for 5 minutes is enough.

Now take 3 medium sizes red onions, slice them thinly, and keep them aside. Finally, cut 3 cups of lettuce into big sizes and keep them aside. Our filling is ready.
