  • 13 cups of water (filtered)

  • 1 kg sugar

  • Bread yeast (1 pack)

  • Add water: First, put on a small pot on the stove. Then add around 8 cups of fresh and filtered water to the small pot. Make sure the pot is large enough to accommodate the water. It is crucial because you will boil the water. A smaller pot may not hold it.

  • Start heating the water and monitor it: Now, turn on the stove. As the water starts boiling, monitor the temperature. Use a thermometer to observe the temperature. It shouldn’t cross 120°F, or the later process will be disturbed.

  • Add and dissolve the sugar: Pour a tablespoon of sugar into the warm water. Now, you should continue stirring the mixture. It will fasten the process of sugar dissolving in the warm water.

  •  Add water to the fermenting jar: You can now pour 5 cups of filtered water into the fermenting jar. Also, make sure the fermenting jar is clean.

  • Add the fermented yeast and put on the lid: Remove the wrapper from the fermented yeast. Then, carefully pour the entire yeast into the fermenting jar. Be careful not to overspill the yeast and water. Also, close the lid to keep it aside for fermenting.
