Eight Simple Steps To Make Mountain Dew Ice Cream
Yes, we need to prepare the bowl to make the mountain dew ice cream. You can’t make it in any normal bowl. You must keep your mixing bowl in the freezer for half an hour or until it’s frozen. Then take a large plate, fill half with ice and place your frozen mixing bowl on top of it. And the bowl is ready.
Pour 1 cup of whipping cream or heavy cream into the mixing bowl, and ensure you are using room temperature whipping cream or heavy cream. Use a hand whisk or electric beater, and beat the cream at high speed until stiff peaks form.
Once the stiff peaks are formed, it’s time to add sweetener. Add ¾ cup of condensed milk, fold, and mix it with a spatula with the beaten whipping cream. Be gentle when mixing and avoid overmixing.
After mixing, use the hand whisk or electric beater again and beat the mixture again. Beat for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is foamy.
Now, take 1 ½ cup of mountain dew, and pour it slowly into the mixture. First, add a little of it, and mix with a gentle hand with a spatula. This is how we have mixed all the mountain dew we have taken.
Adding food color is just to give it a good look. If you love white ice cream, you don’t need to add any food coloring. But if you like, then add any color you want. Here I have used one pinch of green food color. Now give it a gentle mix, and it’s ready.
If you want it to look more beautiful, sprinkle some more food color on top of the ice cream and just design as you like.
Pour the ice cream into an air-tight container, spread it evenly on the container, and keep it in the freezer for 7-8 hours. If you have enough time, leave it for overnight.
Once time is up, take the container out of the fridge, open it, and look how beautifully it’s set. Scoop up as much ice cream as you need and serve it in an ice cream bowl or dessert bowl.
If you’re looking for something different than your average dessert or ice cream, try out the mountain dew ice cream recipe for sure. This incredibly delicious ice cream is sure to pair up with any dish.
Whether you want to serve it as a dessert after a meal or as ice cream, it’s very versatile. So ready to give this ice cream a try? Then make it today, and let me know how it melted in your mouth and satisfies your cravings.
