This recipe needs a few minutes and simple ingredients. You can make the donuts for a month, regarding the number of servings. You can increase or decrease the volume of the ingredients that I mentioned below. Try to choose the flavor before start cooking. These homemade donuts are healthy with 10gr protein and 150 calories. To get the perfect nutrition, you have to be careful about choosing a good protein powder. Always try to select a protein powder that is artificial ingredients free.

The ingredients that I mentioned are enough for making 22 mini donuts. You can also make 10 regular size donuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops of Herbalife healthy meal formula 1 (any flavor I use dulce de leche)

  • 2 Scoops of vanilla Protein drink mix

  • ½ cup Almond flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder or ½ tsp baking soda

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 and ½ tsp skinny syrup ( I used vanilla almond)

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • ½ cup milk

  • Donut sprinkles

  • Chocolate Glaze (Optional)
  • 5 tsp cocoa powder

  • 2 heaping tsp honey

  • ½ tsp melted coconut oil

  • 1 tsp unsweetened almond oil

  • Vanilla Glaze (Optional)
  • 2/3 organic powder sugar

  • 1 to 2 tsp unsweetened almond milk

  • Oven or 1 electric donut maker

  • Arrange all the ingredients: Arrange all the ingredients according to the list. You can get all the listed ingredients in the online or local market. Arrange all the ingredients
  • Add all the ingredients to the bowl: With a measurement, the cup adds the right volume of all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

  • Mix the Ingredients: Get the mixer and mix the ingredients for 2 minutes at a low speed. If you don’t have a mixer, you can use a whisk to mix the ingredients by hand. But make sure that no lumps remain in the mixer. Mix the Ingredients
  • Spread Oil in the Donut Pan or the electric donut maker: spread oil in the pan with a brush or tissue paper. You can use any cooking oil, olive oil, or vegetable oil.

  • Pour the Batter in the Donut Pan or a Piping Bag: You can directly pour the mixer into the donut pan or in an electric donut maker. On the other hand, you can pour them into a zip lock bag or piping bag with the corner cut.

  • Baked the Donut: Pre heats the oven and cook the donuts at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Usually, mini donuts cook faster than regular donuts. If you use an electric donut maker, it will take 20 to 25 minutes to cook.

  • Cool down the Donuts: After baking, take them out and place them into the large bowl to cool down completely. Then decorate donuts as desired.

  • Make the Glaze: Here, I make the chocolate glaze. Try to add all the ingredients in a small bowl to make a fine paste. You should add 5 tsp cocoa powder, two heaping tsp honey, ½ tsp melted coconut oil, and 1 tsp unsweetened almond oil.
