  • Oven

  • Baking tray

  • Parchment paper

How to make Chick Fil A Cookie

  • Preheat The Oven: Let’s start the process by preheating the oven. Set the oven at 325 degrees F, and leave it for 15 minutes. Baking cookies in the preheated oven ensure the cookies are perfectly crisp outside and soft inside.
    Preheat The Oven
  • Mix The Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add flour all-purpose flour; if you want, you can use whole wheat flour instead, no problem. Next, add instant oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Ensure you have added the ingredients tightly; as I mentioned, don’t be clever and add something more. Like adding oats more to make it more nutritious. Don’t do that because adding too much oats will turn these cookies into an oats cookie, not a chick fill cookie.
Now use a hand whisk and mix all these ingredients.
    Mix The Dry Ingredients
  • Prepare The Dough: Take a stand mixer, add butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Now, start the machine and beat the ingredients until you get a smooth creme. It will take you about 2 minutes to get the perfect texture and smooth creme.
Then,  add the eggs, honey, and vanilla extract and beat again until everything is well mixed and smooth. If you want, you can exchange the vanilla extract with maple serum or almond extract for better taste.
Next,  divide the dry ingredients into three parts. Add and beat, and continue until all the dry ingredients are mixed.
Finally, the cookie dough is ready; it’s time to add the delicious dark chocolate chunks and milk chocolate chunks. Take out the dough in a bowl, add the cute chunks, and gently mix with a rubber spatula.
    Prepare The Dough
  • Bake The Chick Fil A Cookie: Take a baking tray, line it with parchment paper or a baking sheet, and spray with a cooking spray. Use an ice cream scoop, take one scoop of the cookie dough, place it in the baking tray, press the dough gently, and give it a cookie shape. Like this, make all the cookies and place them, keeping a 2-inch space.
Wear your oven gloves and the tray full of cookies in the preheated oven. Increase the heat to 350 degrees F and bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes or until they turn light brown. If you love soft and chewy cookies like me, 15 minutes is enough. But if you love crunchy texture cookies, bake them for additional 5 minutes (20 minutes).Bake The Chick Fil A Cookie
  • Serve: Once the time is up, take out the cookies from the oven and let them cool down for a few minutes. Then serve on a serving plate and enjoy tea or as a snack. You can store these cookies by keeping them in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can also store them for more time (up to one month) by putting them in a well-sealed container and store in the refrigerator.

Tips  And Tricks

  • After placing the cookie dough in the baking tray, I leave them for 10 minutes to chill and cover with a microfiber towel. This allows the cookies to absorb the excess moisture and takes less time to bake. This also makes the cookie chewer.
  • If you want the cookie to be softer, use half vegetable shortening and half butter. You may think butter makes the cookie softer; yes, it’s true, but using vegetable shortening makes the cookie chewy softer, and butter makes the cookie melty softer.
  • If you are not a honey lover, still, you must use honey if you want the cookie to taste like the Chick Fil A restaurant. Honey is the secret ingredient that makes their cookies different than others.
