I have made this delicious item for almost 5 years. Very short-cut and time-consuming cooking procedures. It takes just a couple of minutes along with a few homemade seasonings, vegetables, and Cheese.

To make the recipe, I always prefer fresh raw broccoli instead of any packets of ready-to-cook broccoli. But you can also make it with packet broccoli to consume your time.

Ingredients

  • Fresh broccoli- 1 piece

  •  Whole Eggs- 3 pieces

  • Salt- 1 tsp

  • Black pepper- 1 tsp

  • Milk- 2 tsp

  • Olive Oil-2 tsp

  • Oregano- 1 tsp

  • Cooked long-grained rice- 2 cups

  • Cheddar Cheese- ½ cup

  • Ritz crackers- 1 row

  • Chicken/ Mushroom soup- 1 cup

  • Mayonaise- ⅓ cup

  • Making tools
  • A mixing bowl

  • A big sauce-pan

  • Oven for baking

how to make Cheddar’s Broccoli Cheese Casserole

  • Cut the broccoli into small pieces: As I preferred fresh raw broccoli, firstly, I washed it with clean water and then cut it into small-medium pieces. You can also give the shape and size, as you demand. Use a knife or your hand.

  •  Boil into the water: Now, Take a round pan and boil the broccoli in high-medium heat. Boil it for around 3-5 minutes with a pinch of salt. Remember, don’t boil it over.

  •  Make egg seasonings: Now, make an egg seasoning. Beat three eggs with a pinch of salt and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk for a few seconds.

  •  Add milk to eggs: After a few seconds of whisking, add 2 tsp of milk into the egg mixture. Beat again until the liquids get creamy and fluffy.

  • Remove water from boiled broccoli: Stop the boiling of broccoli and turn off your stove. Remove the hot water and rewash them with normal cold water.

  •  Strain the broccoli: Take a sieve over a bowl and place the broccoli into it. Strain them properly as there is no extra water left. Let it cool for the subsequent procedures.

  •  Mix the broccoli with rice and soup: Now, take another bowl. Transfer the broccoli in it from the strainer. Pour chicken or mushroom soup in it and add cooked grained rice. Combine them finely with a spoon or a spatula.

  • Add egg seasonings and grated cheese: This time, you have to add egg seasonings and sharply grated cheddar or parmesan cheese. You can also use melted cheese and mayonnaise. Mix them until the mixture gets thick, sticky, and creamy.

  • Spread the mixture on a baking tray: It’s time to turn to the baking process. Bring out the baking tray from the oven and oil the tray’s surface with a spatula. Then, spread the mixture onto the tray’s surface gradually.

  • Bake in the oven: Preheat the oven to 300-350 degrees. Now, bring back to the tray into the preheated oven. Bake the Cheddar’s Broccoli for around 35 to 40 minutes until the outer layer colors golden brown and crispy.

  • Sprinkle some ritz crackers: Remove the tray from the oven. Sprinkle some of the crushed Ritz crackers on top of the baked layer. Bake it again for an additional 20 minutes.

  • Garnish and Serve: Finally, bring out the tray and garnish it with tacos or crispy chips, and top with sprinkling over casserole. You can avoid butter and use olive oil to make this dish a good vegan-friendly dish. But it would make the taste a little different from the main version.

Can We Reheat It In An Air Fryer?
Yes, you can certainly reheat it in an air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 300 degrees. Put the leftover dish into the frying basket and fry for 2 minutes. 

Which Heating Process Is More Efficient And Easier?
You will be happy to know that the air-fry heating process is more efficient than the session of microwaves and ovens both. This is much faster to make the dish warm and a little crunch.

Though it would be stored up finely, I highly recommend not storing the dish for the next few days. As it never gets much tastier than before. Try to cook them as instructed and eat them without wasting the leftovers.
