how to make Buffalo Wild Wings Potato Wedges

  •  Slice the potato: Slice your potato into thick slices on a chopping board. Then cut them into long strips or wedges.
    Slice the potato
  • Wash the potato: After topping, you should wash all the potato slices about 3 to 4 times with clean water.
  • Boil the potato with salt: Now, turn on your stove and place a pan with water. Add some salt to the water and put all the potato slices inside the pot. Boil the potato until it boils by 80%. You can boil them for 10 minutes.
  • Make the batter: In a bowl, add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp chilli flakes, ½ tsp oregano, ½ tsp white pepper, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tbsp plain flour, and 60ml water.
  • Remove potato from the water: After 10 minutes place the boiled potato on tissue paper to absorb its extra water.
  • Mix butter mix with potato: Carefully combine everything with the batter. Use a spoon and carefully mix them.
  • Fry the wedges: Preheat your oil to the right temperature for the fried potato wedges recipe. Then gradually place your potato. Don’t make crowed on the pan. Fry the potato until they become golden brown and crispy. Try to fry them in low, medium heat for about 4 to 5 minutes. A perfectly cooked wedge is crispy from the outside and soft and flavorful from the inside.
  •  Remove the fried potato: After 5 minutes, remove the wedges from the pan and place them on a plate with tissue paper. Remove-the-fried-potato
  • Serve the wedges: Serve your wedges with cheese sauce or tomato sauce.

  • Should you boil potatoes before frying them? It’s best to parboil the potatoes before pan-frying to get cooked tender inside. If you don’t burn the potatoes before frying, they will not be well cooked inside but crispy outer potatoes.
  • Once sliced, try to soak the potatoes in ice water if you have time. It will allow your wedges to crisp up to a little more than otherwise.
  • After the boil, the potato tries to dry thoroughly. Use tissue paper to dry your wedges.
