McDonald’s biscuit recipe is one of the famous and well-reputed restaurants for its every unique item, but it also has some specialty for a few specific items. These McDonald’s biscuits are one of those fabulous recipes. It makes their menu list more demanding. Because it offers a soft bunny flavor, with a melted buttermilk texture. 

It is so easy to make and chew-friendly for everyone from young to old. Especially kids who are getting die heart fans of it. These McDonald’s biscuits we can use as patties-fold and crispy sandwich bread and in many versatile recipes. As it is completely free from oily and harmful ingredients.

To get a perfectly chewy and soft melted flourish flavor, you have to add some of the available stored ingredients which are used in McDonald’s biscuit recipe.

It takes an all-around 20 to 25 minutes maximum. Just pick up the instructed ingredients from a grocery store and keep following the recipe until the cook is done. Be conscious while you’re putting all ingredients into the dough mix and bake it in an oven at an exact temperature. Thus, this magical recipe is done.


  • All-purpose flour- 2 cups

  • Salt- 1 tsp

  • Granulated sugar- 1 tsp

  • Baking powder- 1 tsp

  • Frozen unsalted butter- 2 cups

  • Buttermilk- 1 cup.

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350 to 400 degrees. Ready the baking sheet with oiled  parchment paper. Place it aside for the next step.

  • Mix the dough ingredients: Take a medium-sized bowl. Put 2 cups of all-purpose flours, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp of granulated sugar into it. Add 1 tsp baking powder. Mix them nicely with a fork or spoon.

  • Cut the butter and freeze: Using the cold butter cubes is mandatory. Bring a bar of butter and cut it into cubes sized using a sharp knife. Keep them in the freeze for 10 to 15 minutes. Let them be completely cold.

  • Add the frozen butter cubes: After 15 minutes, bring out the frozen butter and add it to the flour. Now, finely crush and grate the cubes by using the pastry blender/ fork. Turn the flour and butter cubes into the pea-sized balls and it seems like moist sand by pressing the pastry blender.

  • Pour the buttermilk: Here, pour 1 cup of liquid buttermilk into the mixed flour. Stir the mix with a fork.

  • Make a dough: While you pour the milk into the flour, it’s getting rough and shaggy dough. Place the dough now onto the hard surface. Knead it using your hands and assemble it together.

  • Roll up this dough: This time, you need to roll up this dough very gently. Roll the dough in a rectangular shape. Then fold the dough at least 3 or 4 times. Keep rolling out the dough until it turns roughly 3/5 inches.

  • Cut the dough into biscuits: Cut the dough into many pieces of biscuits using a sharp biscuit cutter. Now, you have to place them onto the ready baking sheet.

  •  Brush the biscuit’s top edge: Brush the topped edges with left buttermilk with a spatula or a pastry brush.

  •  Bake them: Now, bake them in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes until they turn into a yummy golden brown color.

  • Bring them out of the oven and brush again: After proper baking, bring them out of the oven and brush the baked biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle lightly a pinch of smoked salt on top surfaces of the biscuits.

  • Let it cool and serve: Finally, you need to cool them before serving to room temperature, by setting them on a wire rack before serving. Now, It’s completely ready to serve finely by itself.

  • Store the baked biscuits.

To have these delicious biscuits for the rest of the week, store them in an airtight container. And keep the container in a cool place (at room temperature).  Make  them first well frozen by keeping them uncovered in a bowl into a freeze. place there for 3 hours and afterward,  transfer them into a tight-covered plastic wrap. Place the packet into the freeze.

  • Store the unbaked biscuits.

If you want to eat the biscuits  always fresh and tender, you can reserve them unbaked following the same process of freezing. Afterward, bake them straight when you want to have them.
