How To Make Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich

  • Preheat The Oven: Set the oven to 200 degrees F and let it preheat for 5 minutes. If you don’t have an oven, you can also do it with a gas stove. Put a flat pan over the gas stop, set the gas stove at medium-high power, and heat for two minutes.
    Preheat The Oven
  •  Roast The Potatoes: While the pan is heating, chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces, rinse them well and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Now spread them over the baking pan or heated pan, drizzle the olive oil over them, sprinkle some dried oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Bake them in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown or crisp.
    Roast The Potatoes
  •  Cook The Chicken: Take the chicken breasts and season with pepper and salt. If you are using frozen chicken make sure you keep them at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking. Now put a nonstick pan on the gas stove, pour the vegetable oil, and let it heat for a minute. Place the seasoned chicken on the pan and fry each side for 3 minutes until they are golden brown. Now take a little water in hand and splash it on the pan. Cover with a lid and cook in low medium heat for 12-15 minutes.
    Roast The Potatoes
  • Make The Sauce: Finely chop the spring onion, and garlic and keep them aside. Take a bowl, pour the mayonnaise, and add the chopped garlic & spring onion, white wine vinegar, pepper, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. Combine them well and keep them aside.
    Make The Sauce
  •  Bake The Ciabattas: Take the ciabattas, cut them in half, and place them on a baking tray. Put the baking tray in the oven and bake for 5 minutes until the ciabattas turn into toast and golden brown. Take them out and keep them aside to cool down.

  • Assemble Sandwich: Wash the gem lettuce, pat dry with a kitchen towel, and shred. Take one ciabatta, fill it with spiced cooked chicken, and spread some sauce and a handful of gem lettuce. Cover with the other half of the ciabatta and insert a toothpick or wooden stick. Do the same and make another sandwich.
    Assemble Sandwich
  • Serve: If you want to enjoy a hot sandwich, put the ready sandwich in the oven for a minute and take it out. Place it on a serving plate and serve the whole with the roasted potatoes. If you face a problem with biting you can cut it in half and enjoy it as you want. Dip in some extra sauce if you love having a too saucy sandwich.

Why Should You Try Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich

When your search for a unique dish to impress your guest or family, chicken ciabatta sandwich is a good option. This is not only an excellent and satisfying dish but also very easy to make. So you can make something special without spending hours in the kitchen and with minimal ingredients.

Just season the chicken breasts before being baked or fried, and then make it with just about anything inside them, including salad, vegetables, or cheese slices.

On top of that, this ciabatta chicken sandwich is also nutritious, so it’s better to have a meal instead of a snack. Because it has toasted ciabatta bread, crispy chicken breast, and healthy veggies. Chicken is high in protein,  a nutrient that helps to maintain muscle and strength, prevents weight gain, and supports various body functions.

In addition to being healthy for you internally, chicken sandwiches also provide essential nutrients such as zinc and vitamin B6 that can promote overall health. And this sandwich is also low in calorie, so it’s an excellent option for people who wants to lose weight without sacrificing taste.

So add this sandwich to your lunch option if you’re looking for something hearty and filling. It’s just perfect and can be tweaked to fit your personal preferences.

Add your favorite veggies to the sandwich, or use different types of cheese, or bacon instead of chicken if you want.

Whatever you decide, I am sure you’ll love the taste and unique texture of this sandwich

How To Store Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich

It’s not possible to store sandwiches for a short time, let alone a long time. Because it includes sauce and fresh veggies that will be damaged just after passing an hour. So it’s better to make this sandwich or any sandwich when you make it. But it’s possible to make the process easier. You can fry and store the chicken for a period and just prepare the sandwich in a few minutes. Season and fry the chicken, let it cool down and place it in an air-tight container or air-sealed bag. It will be crispy and in good condition for upto 4 days in a refrigerator. When you need to make the sandwich take it out, and bake for two minutes, and it’s ready to go inside the bread.

Tips and Tricks

  • Avoid using any spices (only salt and pepper) to season the chicken or marinate it.
  • Don’t overbake the ciabatta bread; 5 minutes is enough for me as I love crispy toast, but if you want the sandwich to be a little soft in bite, bake it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add more green veggies like bell pepper or avocado to make the sandwich tastier and more nutritious.
